Sunbeam
Spotted at the rear of a garage in Cornwall, 2005.
Not the sharpest of pics unfortunately, but just to show that the name isn't dead in NZ. Driven here by Todd Forsyth who ran out of patience with head gasket issues.

Thanks guys. It was just a test to see if anyone read what I spout !
I got a little off track with my offset.
It has been duly corrected.

More Sunbeams, Lotus and Taraschi. Just a tidy up of those I'd posted earlier and had picked out more than could be displayed in one post.
A mix again from the archives before I have another go at scanning more older stuff. Such a slow, frustrating process...
Not having a good run with computers at the moment... These pics had to be reloaded a couple of hours later. Ran out of black toner with 200 coloured, picture name tags to print. 'Caps Lock' and the 'Z' keys have packed up on the laptop!
Uncertain date, but yours truly possibly on the way to a class win at Curborough, where I seemed to spend more Sundays than at Church! Note the $50 Aley aluminium roll hoop and back stay...
The wonderful Haynes/Sparkford Museum in Devon.

Smales Farm, Takapuna, last Sunday of the month, 9am to 12, seems to be very popular, but I have only managed a couple of visits.
I won't be able to get to at least the next 3 either.

Can anyone identify car no 181 in the second photo of post no 904?
Is that John Hearne's Alfa 1500 in the bottom pic?
That pic was taken just this week - last Sunday of May. I know nothing of the details of the car.
Busy now with organising my last ERC Series Dinner, so no time to scan any more old slides or negatives until probably October. With Goodwood ear-marked for September, I expect to add a fair few pics to my library later in the year. Anything I post between now and then will be gap fillers tripped over whilst backing up.
This set is from my 'undated' group, which, thanks to slides, is far more difficult to accurately date than negative film. Any confirmed date of any pic would be appreciated. Running your mouse over the image will tell you from the first three digits, what year I think it is. (185 = 1985)
Apologies if any have been posted before.

Kiwis at Goodwood 2016 - Friday practice.
Great photos Ray, thanks for posting. I love the Jocko Special, owned by Neil Tolich. This is the very first race car of American driver Sam Posey, who went on to big things in Formula 5000, and in Trans-Am, where he drove for Penske and Shelby, and, along with Ray Caldwell, ran the Autodynamics factory Dodge Challengers in 1970.
Unfortunately the silver car owned by Nigel Russell, FMZ and NZ built has had engine issues at Goodwood and his Euro odyssey for a fantastic FJ season is terminated.
Living the dream, what an adventure
Yup, and Paul Halford came in on the end of a tow rope too.
Tony O went very well indeed (13th?) and Neil was driving well in the Jocko, putting in some very respectable times and tagging onto the group in front, who had much quicker cars.
Paul Radisich was one of the star drivers in the A35 race, but the car sounded off colour in Friday practice, retired during the wet race Saturday, but the car (with its owner driving), sounded and went much better on Sunday.
Taken many, many pics of course, but will post a few over time. I also visited Brooklands and the Coventry Transport Museum (that one is free by the way and excellent). Tomorrow, hoping for the Heritage Museum, before heading to a Chris Barber concert, near Milton Keynes.
A bit of variety from Goodwood. Nothing more than a taster.
First three pics are Friday practice.
