    Jaguar E Type at the Geneva Motor Show - March 1961.

    The 1961 Brochure for the Jaguar E Type as given to my Uncle at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1961.
    It was an 8 page brochure with spiral binding [ as seen ] and photos of 3 versions of the car Coupe, Roadster, and Roadster with Hardtop.

    Not for Sale - but happy to provide copies of scans for any owners out there.

    Back when GT meant Grand Touring or " Gran Tourismo " - A car for Touring with style.

    Would like to see any photos of the Car [ cars - was there a Roadster as photographed or just the Coupe ? ] at the Show.

    One that will be on my bookshelf sometime soon, yes there is an error on the back cover, this was the draft for my approval. Now I can't upload, too big and PDF so I can't with my limited skills reduce it.
    For information, my own book on the Peugeot 404.

    Have you tried the 'Snipping Tool' program? Should be installed by default on Windows. Useful for taking a picture of something like a PDF page and saving as an image. Can send some instructions on how to use it if that would be helpful.

    Psopho - Nic,
    I have the same issue with PDF images, never heard of the " Snipping Tool ", must have a go.

    PS, spelt your TRS name correctly now " Psopho ".

    Part of my haul, acquired at the " Lions Club " Tauranga book sale at the Tauranga Racecourse. Sale is on until end of Sunday 10th November 2024.

    A History of Motoring in New Zealand - had been in a College Library - cost $5.00,.

    They join the only other Road and Track of mine from 1963, bought when still a High School Student.

    a Vintage Motorsport 2005.5 no #5 for the year - still in it plastic packaging, yet to be opened.

    Got it mainly as it has an article on the Chaparral 2F.

    Motoring Books and McLaren.

    The recent purchase of the August 1971 Edition of " Road and Track " has an article on the McLaren M8E, the car that was raced after we lost Bruce McLaren in 1970.
    There is a series of drawings by Werner Buhrer [ c Buhrer '71 ].
