Video Of The Day: 1967 German Grand Prix

Many of you have no doubt seen this. I stumbled upon it recently and enjoyed it so much I had to share it here. This is just a few minutes highlights from the 1967 German GP at the Nurburgring.

Watching these cars and drivers going for broke around this incredible circuit, power-sliding, and getting airborne on the peaks is just mesmerizing.

This video pretty much sums up what is lacking in modern-day F1.

    Steve,
Great minds must think alike !
I had found this video also when searching about Peter Collins and I thought that after my shower tonight I would put it in and you beat me to it !
Denny drove like a true champion and the fragile Lotus 49s were not suited to this circuit.
These drivers were truly brave as they flew over those humps.
    Thanks for the input.

Over 5 years ago Steve entered this thread about the 1967 German Grand Prix.
    That video is now unavailable.
I watched this current one of that race and think it is great hearing the voices of our heroes from that era,
seeing a Volvo wagon tow Jo Bonnier's Cooper to the track, do a tour of the original 14 mile circuit looking through the front shocks of a Formula Vee plus more great stuff.
I hope this video stays around to show what F1 used to be like. Enjoy.
