Who would have thought that a Ferrari 250, nicknamed 'the Breadvan' would inspire or spawn Ford Anglia copies?
As stated earlier, I sadly missed seeing this group out in practice and their race. Drat.
Seen outside the Ibis Budget, Portsmouth, my bed for four nights, Ronart, over from Holland.

Haggeman Sutton Special
Somewhat surprisingly, the Lotus 16 beat the later rear engined cars to win the Richmond & Gordon Trophies. One of my favourite race groups as it did indeed cover that transition from front engined to rear engined GP cars. Glad I am of an age to remember it. Only one Ferrari contested the race.
Another from the Rob Walker tribute parade.

I'm still sorting deleting and filing, two months later...
This Maserati and the ERAs looked very similar.

It is still a 'Mix of Pics - even though so many are from just one meeting. If nothing else, I hope it shows the real diversity of vehicles present - but this set for the Jaguar fans.
In the sunshine 7:15am....
The Costin Lister Jaguar GT. Love this car.
Michelotti XK 150 - just to save you asking.
I haven't done a count, but I believe there were far more Jaguar engines on tack at Goodwood than any other, by a considerable margin - and boy, did some of them sound sweet!

Roger...that b/w pic where you say Concourse at Sunken Gardens , Cornwall park.
That location pic is Ellerslie Racecourse going by the ornate pillars and Members Only signs.
You must be right John. Members Only sign is the giveaway.
This Mercury Cyclone is owned by Kiwi, Roger Wills, but driven here by Gordon Shedden, the 'pro' driver for the two part St Mary's Trophy Race. Roger drove it on the Sunday which is 'owners day', but Steve Soper was also running Sunday....
