Thanks Nigel, An MG Midget, but in reality a Sprite, they, " BMC " got several people to come up with a new body style on the Bug-eye platform, Donald Healey's boys did a design and MG did one [ " Sid Enever " ] and this was the result the AH Sprite Mark 2, is the MG Midget Mark 1 this would be an MG Midget Mark 2 or 3, as has wind up windows, and looking at the tonneau a Mark 3, the hood folded down, not removable and stowed in the boot like the previous models. 1275 engine if standard,looks great on the " Minilite " wheels, whether genuine or replica
Answered my own question - a Mark 3 same as a Mark 4 Sprite;
Chassis numbers were AH Sprite HAN, MG's GAN as below
Year: 1968
Make: MG
Model: MIDGET
Colour: Red
Body Style: Convertible
Plate: RD3863
Engine No: 12CEDAH847
Chassis: GAN461978G
Vehicle Type: Passenger Car/Van
Seats: 5
CC rating: 1,275cc

Saw this Hillman Husky at the rebel Roundup at Pukekohe. It's powered by a flathead V8

As can be seen the Monaro has period shocks and springs, definitely doesnt go round corners like it on rails.
And note the body roll.

All I know Steve is that it appears to be an original 1963 Porsche 356 GTS
