What is it?
My ( and Ray's) request to find out what this car is disappeared amongst Ray's many and very excellent photos so I am starting this thread with the hope that someone may be able to identify this neat little car. My initial thought are that it is possibly a Fraser Nash but that's a bit of a wild guess.

Not a Cooper-MG is it? I saw a Green(BRG)car in a garage workshop several years ago having work done on its front brakes. I think the NZ registration docket recorded it as a 1949 MG Special, and the nose treatment was very reminiscent of Cooper-Bristols from a few years later. Unfortunately there wasn't anyone knowledgeable around to ask.
Does that ring any bells?

Yes Stu I believe its a locally built Cooper MG. Nice little car that I haven't seen out for a long time.

My first reaction was that it was a Cooper of some sort within an era when I was specially interested in such things and am now convinced that I was exactly on track. Internal headlights fixed my thoughts.

Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

It would indeed appear to be a Cooper MG. This photo is from the internet.
