Entries for the first official Historic race meeting of the 2017/18 summer season have just been posted by TACCOC. This is a fantastic one day event Saturday, October 14th at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.

Featuring Historic Muscle and Saloon Cars. Participants in period correct pre 12/77 Saloon cars will be eager to dust of the winter blues for some 4 wheeled historic motorsport action.

Expected big bore HMC Saloons are Roger Williams 69 “American Airlines” Camaro, Dave Sturrock 68 “Gulf” Camaro, Andrew Sinclair 70 “Hemi” Cuda, Dale Mathers 69 “Boss” Mustang, David Wood 76 “Petty” Dodge Aspen, Tony Mexted 70 PDL Mustang, Tony Roberts 65 Mustang Fastback, Brett Pearce 68 “Bathurst” Monaro, Sean McCaughan 71 XY “Shaker” Falcon, Glenn Allingham and Murray Brown in their 70 Camaros, the super quick Sampson RS V6 Capris and first time racer Greg Goudie’s awesome Capri along with others.

In the small bore HSC Saloon ranks expect to see John Dennehy’s rapid Ex-Freighters MK1 Escort, Neville “Hillsy” Hills MK2 Escort, Dennis Connell’s 69 “Fahey” MK1 Escort, Rayden Smith 69 “Ex Richards” MK1 Escort, Mike Coory’s 76 Datsun “GTR” 240K, Bob Hyslop 72 RX2 Mazda and first time racer Todd Gower MK3 Cortina and this is only a sample……………
