MSNZ awarded three Heritage Awards at the annual dinner and prizegiving this year - they went to

John Nicholson...one of 8 Kiwis to start a F1 GP but more significantly, the 'Nicholson' in 'Nicholson-McLaren engines'
Cary Taylor.......Denny's mechanic on the WC winning Brabham in 67, and the CA winning McLaren in 68. Legend.
Rob Wilson.......Runner up in 75/76 NZ FF, back with a March Atlantic in 81, front runner in British F3, nearly made F1

Last year Heritage Awards went to

Paul Fahey
Ernie Sprague
Wally Willmott
Eoin Young

MSNZ made no additions to their Wall of Fame again this year.

Very nice to see David Oxton and Jim Palmer finally acknowledged on the Motorsport Wall of Fame. Both were multiple NZ Gold Star champions and both dominated single-seater racing in their respective eras.

And both were and still are genuinely nice blokes.
