    I don't think it did race again Bruce. And yes, it was a good price, considering around this time a front running Sports Sedan such as Wayne Huxfords V8 Capri or Inky Tullochs similar car were lapping Manfeild in around 70 - 72 seconds, as a complete package it would have been hard to beat.

    But it didn't sell, and it got even cheaper. Here it is still for sale in 1983, less engine:

    Brings back good memories of some great racing. I was at Baypark that day. And being a Ford fan it was fantastic to see the PDL Mustang which had been around for some time beat Moffats Monza (being the latest machinery from the states) in all three races. Moffat was from happy! The saying was true that day, an oldie but a goodie!

    Yes the esses ,its interesting how much the circuit has changed through there over time ,this photo shows that well
