Rhys-I read the well researched article out of Classic Car mag on T70
However I want to do my own research as I have the original white in excellently preserved condition and its different to whats on the Lola.

John, Cambridge was owned by British Imperial Tobacco distributed in NZ by that company in Napier...still there today. It is a gamble but why don't you contact them, explain the situation and ask them do they have the old records of the paint colours used in advertising. Most corporate companies were very strict in regard to advertising and had references to the correct paint colours to use and the paint manufacture. Best of luck, Bruce
I tried contacting the US company who now "own" the brand. They said they did not have any records of the color codes. (Worth a try )
Yeah a hard one aye...in todays PC world tobacco advertising is frowned on.

Your Monaro is taking shape now, I am guessing you have a donor Car to get a lot of part off?

I would have thought with the work put into the Monaro Bill would have raced it for longer. Did you find any information on Denis Hamill who bought the Monaro from Bill Minty?.
Trade me is a good place to buy Monaro parts. I have bought a few Monaro parts here including a mint condition Bonnet.

Hi John, I found a team Cambridge decal inside a box I used as a fid to carry slot cars, you are more than welcome to it if I knew where to send it. Barry Leitch.

Wow John, what a great find and better than an old ciggy packet.
