who what where?
Who What ?
Could it be... Jamie Aislabie with SID Mk 1 ??
Top of the class GD66..on it's way to Levin
Jag engine?
Ok ..here's another Who and what,,,where could be difficult
The evil Sid did start of with the supercharged 3.8-litre Jag engine from Jamie's Cooper-Jag, replaced later with a fuel-injected 4.7 Ford
And I reckon the No.40 car might be John Nicholson's Lotus 27
Not Frank Gardner - GD66 cracked Sid 1 so quickly, I had to make this more difficult
It is a Lotus David ..but not JN at the helm
Dene Hollier?
nope...
anyone got any more pics of Sid...what happened to it?
Doug Evens, Motueka bentsprint @river rd ?
Amazing Angria!!!!!..I thought that would keep you quite for a lot longer!!,,,what about that Brabham then??
My guess on the Brabham is John Love in mid 1967 just after he received the car in a South African local F1 race.
You got it PallMall...well done!!!,,My sources say the car is BT11 fitted with a Repco V8 after the Climax engine proved troublesome.. Ok mate, your turn!
Hi bry3500 Is SID Mk1 1971 in Nelson on borrowed trailer towed by Ford v8 flat head Singler Spiner onway home from Timaru Jamie A

Ford GT40 MK 2 - Possibly Chassis No. 1046, if the black paint is original .
Thanks for the correction Jamie..the picture came from the Nelson photo News which proclaimed you were on the way to Levin...anyway, what an amazing looking car, really happy to know that it survived,,,do you have any more pictures? .., and oh where did the name Sid come from...Stupendous Innovative Device?? :)
Going by the fabricated sheet support for the 'luggage' box its in that period where it was an active race car-66/67..later pics 68~83 show it with a fabricated tube type support bracket assy, although it could be a much later restored pic, is that a cropped photo? as this car had the brake scoops removed & the rear clip shortened during testing with H&M after its Le Mans effort..
