We don't know how lucky we are in NZ to be able to access the paddock/pits area without a specific pass - and a jobsworth guarding the entrance.
Looks as though Walter's Elva must have had a hiccup recently, judging by the additions to the nose cone.

Regarding the 208 Lola, I think that maybe since the advent of transponders, many have opted out of the standard numbering, however, whilst the timekeepers may not have an issue, the same cannot be said for flag marshals and photographers!
Yes it is indeed the David Kent Lynx. I was chatting to one of the other drivers and he told me that they had a spare engine for it so at least his tour wasn't over.Quote:
