That is quite ingenious Bob! I guess in a way it was a sort primitive version of ground effects. Kinda looks like you went out and bought an Anglia Continental Kit!

Is this of any help? http://www.theroaringseason.com/show...ges-and-Videos
working through the instructions but the down load wont include my pics ,there is a pic of Triang in the OSCA thread and I will continue to crack my tecno failings, could always send Steve an email if that worked also have some good aussie sport sedan shots
One from LevinAttachment 1272
Very unusual for anyone other than Graeme Lawrence to be #14 - at Levin or anywhere else!
The only Anglias I can find thus numbered were Ray Walsh from Wanganui with a 1200 at the March 1972 meeting, and Martin Olsen in a 2-litre car in December 1975 (the last-ever Levin). Have to admit neither driver nor car rings any bells with me
I don't know David, will check with Dad, however it would have been 67 or 68 more likely 68 these additional pics may help as they are in the same group of pics.

Might have been November 1968
42 was P W Ackroyd's 997 Anglia and 75 Ron Condon's
No.14 at that meeting was Trevor Eve in a JRM sportscar, but he might have raced his Anglia instead - no, scrub that, I've got a 14 on my sportscar-race lap-chart
It is dated in one of dads albums as November 68, it was red and can be seen from behind in this picAttachment 1308
Cool photos! Whose is the Anglia in the last shot? Sort of looks like the name McPhail Motor ???? on the rear fender. Is that Ron McPhail?
This is the Slade Coffey Bartley Triang it appears in the OSCA thread and later had the roof put back to comply with regs ,only noticed today the left hand drive
Triang Motor
Thats a neat looking car. I did see the guy sitting in the left side but assumed he was in the passenger seat.
