Another car with a Scottish number-plate. I never was a fan of Vauxhalls, but some love them.

The Vauxhall " Victor " - a very unusual version of the original " Victor " - never seen one like that ERC !!
ERA R4D - the ex Raymond Mays car. Along with 'Remus', the best known of all 17 ERA's built.

I always liked the earlier Bristols, but the later ones did nothing for me.

The Radford Lotus 62. Lotus only made two 62's, one of which was in Gold Leaf colours and the other bought by Jazz man Chris Barber and painted in his usual pale lime green, driven by Dave "Run Baby Run" Brodie.
Brodie tells the story of the night before the Nurburgring race, where Chris amazed him by accurately calculating the 150mph top speed. He took the tyre circumference, axle/dif ratio and top engine revs in top gear and came up with the figure - in his head!

The MG YB has a Nottingham registration and I bet the original owner when he bought it, had no idea that one day, it would be racing at a prestigious Goodwood race meeting!

Ray, do you have any more detail on the mid engine BMW?
1960 BMW 700 RS - I think!
Any details on the last two Ferrari single-seaters ? Both could potentially have Kiwi history.
Thanks
All I can do is quote the programme:
#44 Entrant/driver Alexander Boswell 1952 Ferrari 500/625A 2996cc
#38 Entrant/driver Richard Wilson 1960 Ferrari 246 Dino 2417cc
Sorry, I know no more than that. Maybe a Google search for the driver/car may throw up more info?
To judge by chassis nos elsewhere on the web, the Dino is the replica - not the ex Pat Hoare car.
The 500/625 is the ex Peter Whitehead car - which I saw win the 56 Lady Wigram trophy. My first Wigram.
