As these were designed and built as 'Nash Metropolitans' for the American market, but also sold locally as 'Austin Metropolitans', would I be correct in assuming that Nash would be left hand drive and Austins right hand drive?

I see that Caffeine & Classics are now saying that they only want classics which are at least 30 years old as they are running out of room. Makes sense.
http://www.themotorhood.com/themotor...w-30-year-rule
Now , is that the individual car or the model period - Example is pre 65 class where all the Mustangs are 1966
I would presume that they want any car of 1988 vintage or older so no problem if 4 1967 Ferrari P4's arrive!
Given that up until now, people just rolled up, will there be someone on the 'gate'?
Was at Grimsthorpe Castle Speed Trials yesterday, for prewar cars and bikes plus a few display cars. How come that UK has had a great summer, but it was down to between 12 - 15 degrees - and raining from about 10am?
...and the link between these first two is?

Repco heritage?
Raymond Mays with BRM and a Raymond Mays cylinder head conversion.
I notice that is a BRM driven by Howden Ganley.
I met up with Howden at Laguna Seca last weekend and we had a chat about working at Trojan Works etc.

Well done Ken!
That might be the BRM that Howden DIDN'T drive according to a recent piece by him, but as there were no details of which chassis, who knows. It rained not long afterwards and the car was covered so I was lucky there.
Oh dear. Handed over my ten quid - somewhat reluctantly I might add - for Donington Museum. Having been a regular visitor since it opened in the mid 1970's. I left with a very heavy heart indeed.
For years, I have suggested that kiwis and other overseas visitors should make a point of visiting. Unless you are a devout McLaren, Williams or Force India fan, and maybe interested in Vanwalls and BRMs, what what was a 100% interesting museum, has now dropped to probably 25% of what it was.
Out of the five halls, two are for Kevin's military vehicles, (not for me) one hall is mainly McLaren, one mainly Williams and other modern F1 cars, leaving just one hall of slightly older single seaters - and even that is padded out with a Lotus Elan, MG and a 1927 Salmson...
So many cars gone and just 1 Lotus, 1 Ferrari no Coopers at all. Also gone, the Derby Maserati, Tec Mec, F500's, Ferguson, Porsches, one of the V16 BRM's - even the P25 BRM wasn't there, Cisitalia gone and the list goes on, and on.
So sad. Military and F1 or single seaters is not a good mix.

I visited there in 2013 and luckily I just walked straight in. No one to collect money. I would not have been happy if I had paid. I am in Italy at the moment and just visited both Ferrari museums. I came away disappointed.
Hopefully the weather will be good in England and Goodwood will be great.
Dale.
