Brian Mabey was a Nelson engineer who made the BCM Special's as well as building V8's. He made cam shafts BUT before his death in 1960 aged 22 he built a twin cam head for the BCM.
According to legend this stood in the window of Hampton Tyres in Christchurch for some time (after 1960) and further that it ended up on a Vauxhall in Wellington.
It disappeared and as the owner of the BCM's I will give my left one to hear from anyone who can fill in a bit of history on the head's travel through time. Chris Read. Arrowtown.
