Chris Amon statue planned for Bulls

I see on media that a statue is planned for Chris at the new centre, but that it also says they don't know how it would be funded. Perhaps a Give a Little?
I would chip in some.

TBH I'm disappointed that there is so little response to my suggestion. Chris was an icon for many all around the world. He even has a tribute facebook page contributed to by people from a lot of countries.
We moan that our motorsport heroes are not recognised, but don't seem to want to do so ourselves.
