This is completely stunning. Crystal clear, and just a little bit arty. It captures perfectly one of the deadliest race tracks of them all. I can’t imagine what must have been going through the mind of a driver on the eve or morning of a race here. This place doesn’t allow for failure of any kind, be it human or mechanical. Perhaps this was why drivers of this era were such party animals. Anything to take their minds off racing at places like this.

When modern drivers complain of a track being dangerous, they really have no idea.

From the same year, some interesting incar footage chasing Hubert Hahne's Lola BMW. Not sure why the chase car is a Formula Vee, perhaps it needed to be robust enough to hold what would have been a giant camera. Would have been incredible to have followed Hahne at full speed. Regardless, still amazing to watch.

As fascinating as the Nurburgring is, I would love to see some incar footage of the old Spa, if anyone knows of any? And, another track which fascinates me, Solitude, although even photos of that track are hard enough to come by, let-a-lone film.
