Allan died last Sunday from complications three days after triple bypass surgery. He was 70.

He was a great designer, very good mechanic and good driver. He was an underrated Kiwi.

Been reading about Allan , what an experience he had, I had never meet him he would have some stories like most here , I know Wally Wilmot that would have been in the same era as Allan , interestingly there were also a few from Tauranga on the same team , we all move on . RIP
