Just found out from Graeme Park that the Mazda RX3 Coupe that caught fire belonged to Murray Higgins
Also just been told about cause of fire-
Flywheel exploded, cutting open fluid lines in the tunnel next to it,,,and they caught fire

In post #1 at 5.54 you will see Murray Poot's Datsun 1200 coupe #29 which will be appearing at the MG Classic in November. Murray is building this car to reflect his former race car which he campaigned in the Shell Sport series but with some differences, namely engine. I am assisting him with his COD. It is beautifully presented so far. Check it out under NZ Historic saloon car thread.
