Loss of messages from last few days

Due to a corruption of a number of critical files on the server which prevented the entire system from running correctly the whole environment had to be restored from the most recent working backup early sunday morning (NZ times).

It turns out that this backup, was 5 days old and as a result some recent postings will have been lost. We are looking to see if there is a more recent working backup, but this is currently not looking good

The environment is now currently being reviewed, to determine what may have caused the filesystem corruption, and steps are being taken that it does not happen again.

The backup approach is also being changes so that complete system restore will not have such a potentially large window

Thanks David. As posted above folks, the server had a meltdown, and we apologize for all the lost threads and posts. It looks like we might have lost everything from the last 4 days, which is frustrating. Hopefully some of it can be restored, but at this stage its not looking too good.

Yup. It happens. Not sure what I posted in the last few days so I might have to see if the memory works to send pics again!
