Na, rich twerps like Prince Charles had one. Us regular blokes built our own trolleys/pedal cars......much more satisfying.

We did the same including one that was like an armoured car, with a flip up turret
..
Do believe that they had the Austin J 40's at the rooftop garden of the Farmers Trading Company in Hobson Street, that kids could ride in back in the 50's
