I guess I should introduce myself, my name is Sean McBride, born in Thames, first memory of motor sport is from this meeting December? 76, I would have been just 3 here.

My most vivid memory was seeing Petersons crash from Monza on the news, I also remember standing at a car show watching Villeneuve and Pironi from Imola and then being woken on the morning of May 8 1982 by my dad to the news of his death.
I have posted some of my fathers photos, however I must say that are his friend, Jeff Law's. specifically some of the Levin shots.
The pictures I have posted are mostly Manfield and Pukekohe, by I think there are some from Teretonga and Levin.
I grew up watching some of the alumni on here driving thanks to TVNZ's coverage, others I just heard about through New Zealand Motoring News.
Thank you for this forum, it has given images to some wonderful memories.
Regards
Sean
