Possum Bourne cars driven in competition by Possum

This is a request on behalf of Alan Strong in Whangarei who owns Possum's first works Subaru. Alan is trying to get as many cars that were driven in competition by Possum Bourne together for display at the Possum Bourne Rally in September at Pukekohe. Alan is very interested to locate or receive information from previous or present owners of cars that may be under restoration, badly damaged, or that no longer exist so that they can all be accounted for.

Hi Pete,
I have this year purchased Possum's first rally car the Mk 1 Cortina V8 from the Bourne family and am in the process of restoring it.
It is powered with a Oldsmobile F85 215 ci engine and has a Wolsley diff. Unfortunately it will not be ready to attend the 10th anniversary rally of Possum's death.
Possums last group a car the ex Carlos Sainz car is now back in NZ in Christchurch with an ex service crew member Stu Weeber.
He also has the Legacy practice car and one of the service trucks.
Craig Vincent at Vantage in Hamilton owns the WRC hillclimb car.
I believe that Kempy also has one of the Leone works cars as well.
Thats all that i know of.
